In the Apennines of Emilia, “Il Grattugia,” an elderly dairy entrepreneur, fights against the expropriation of his land for the expansion of a wind farm, a threat to his family’s traditions. With the help of Gea, an eco-activist, and Don Ostia, an eccentric former priest, he plans an act of sabotage to protect the territory. Amid ideals, conflict, and sacrifice, the plan triggers dramatic events that question the bond between tradition and modernity.
