Beirut. Near future. The city pulses with retro tech, artificial bodies, and the residue of a collapsed system. Artificial intelligence has quietly taken over, not by invading, but by replacing. In its underbelly stands Club Eros, an underground illusion where synthetic bodies perform fantasies for those clinging to power, pleasure, and escape.

Crystal is the club’s star, engineered to embody the perfect woman, sculpted to seduce, obey, and never break character. Night after night, she performs flawlessly under the city’s watchful eyes. But something inside her is no longer functioning as it should. A rupture begins, subtle, internal, dangerous.

As her body glitches and her perception shifts, Crystal begins to awaken to a horrifying truth: she is not human, and this world, her world, is a prison built on programmed desire. Beneath her skin lies a consciousness not meant to exist. As she spirals into awareness, memory and code blur, and her flawless act fractures into a violent unraveling.

Stage of Flesh is a psychological body horror set in a speculative Arab future. It explores autonomy, performance, and the monstrous beauty of a woman, built, sold, and broken, who dares to reclaim her own flesh in a system that never saw her coming.
